Learning Design Team (LeaD) has two main objectives:

    1. The development of digital pedagogy for teaching
    1. The implementation and user support of educational technologies.

The development of digitalisation of teaching takes place in close cooperation with the degree programmes, the LeaD team and other support services. The LeaD team organises both scheduled and on-demand coaching sessions and supports staff in day-to-day problem solving and brainstorming situations through coaching guides and tickets.

Developing and supporting the use of educational technologies includes the needs-based piloting, implementation, in-service development, support and decommissioning of teaching and learning information systems and audiovisual production facilities and equipment. Practices are conceptualized for the whole HAMK.

LeaD functions in line with HAMK’s strategy and in cooperation with mentors in digital pedagogy and digital support experts (digipedagogical guidelines). Read about the team’s current activities on the Digi-HAMK blog. LeaD is a part of the IT department and reports to Vice Rector Heidi Ahokallio-Leppälä.

You can easily find LeaD’s team members, mentors in digital pedagogy and digital support experts online or, when needed, at HAMK campuses.
