The importance and benefits of 24/7 implementations

In accordance with HAMK’s strategy, the aim is to offer students flexible and accessible study opportunities. 24/7 eImplementations support this goal by offering the opportunity to build individual and flexible study paths – especially for those students who study according to the 24/7 study mode.

Independent 24/7 eImplementations benefit all students. They support different learners, allow for more individualized progress in studies and enable studying in different life situations. Especially for students of continuous learning, 24/7-eImplementations offer the opportunity to smoothly combine studies with their other life situations.

    24/7 eImplementation at HAMK

24/7 eImplementation means an implementation that meets the following criteria:

    1. 24/7 eImplementation refers to an online implementation where students can start studying flexibly and where students can progress independently at their own pace within the implementation time.
    2. The learning process is designed and built to be suitable for 24/7 studying. The entire learning process and assignments are clearly instructed and phased. Students can track their progress.
    3. The learning process makes appropriate and versatile use of different forms of learning assignments (exams, tests, surveys, gamified elements).
    4. The student receives self-assessment, peer and teacher feedback on their learning as planned in advance, utilizing automation and artificial intelligence applications.
    5. The learning materials for the implementation are produced to be suitable for independent study (video, sound, image, animation), appropriate and accessible.
    6. Regular support and assistance is available for the implementation when needed. The ways in which the support is received are clearly defined.
    7. The teacher determines the final grade for competence based on the assessment criteria in accordance with the assessment cycle planned for the implementation.
