Focus mode in a Zoom meeting

- The host and co-host can see all participants’ cameras and shared screens.
- Participants can only see their own video, the host (and spotlighted participants), the names of other participants, reactions, and can hear each other if they are unmuted.
- Focus Mode is activated during a meeting by selecting “More” → “Start Focus Mode” from the toolbar, and it can be ended by selecting “More” → “Stop Focus Mode.”
- In addition, from Zoom settings (web portal → Meeting → In Meeting (Advanced)), Focus Mode can be enabled or disabled, and its use in scheduled meetings can be allowed.
Focus mode on and off
- Press on …More button.
- Select “Start Focus Mode”

Press on …More button.
- Participants will be notified after switching to Focus Mode.
- The other participants will not be able to see their we content or webcam image they are sharing.


Press on …More button.
- To stop Focus Mode, press the … More button and select “Stop Focus Mode”.
